We are delighted to announce details of our 2018 Christmas foodbank appeal!
As the Christmas season approaches, we will once again be working with the Bluebirds Trust, local schools and the local community for the annual Christmas Foodbank Appeal. Any donations can be delivered to the club offices at the Furness Building Society Stadium.
We are delighted to announce that Chairman Paul Hornby will also carry on the tradition of doubling the full amount raised by supporters!
Following the news, the Chairman said “The Foodbank Appeal in association with the football club and Supporters Trust has been hugely successful in previous years and it is something which we really want to continue and build upon. Our club is all about Community and there is no better time than Christmas to think about how we can really help others, so this year we are going to give it that extra push which will include the players and management of Barrow AFC.”
Trust Chairman Steve Herbert said “It’s great that Paul Hornby has agreed to carry this on. Last year the schools, fans and club provided well over a thousand meals. It’s also a good chance to provide little extras for things like selection boxes etc.”
The information has been shared with all Furness schools and any school wishing to have their donations collected from their schools by Barrow AFC staff can have this done so on the afternoon of Friday 14th December. The club are also taking donations that can be dropped off at the club reception at any time up to that date.

The club reception is open from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday.
You can also drop donations off from 12pm-3pm before our home fixtures on Saturday 8th & Saturday 15th December.
