We are launching an appeal for volunteers, with some fantastic rewards available!
As we mentioned in our last club update, we are hoping for lots of volunteer involvement during the upcoming season.
We are looking for a team of individuals who are willing to give some of their time to make small improvements to the FBSS, from cleaning & repairing to doing odd jobs to improve the supporter experience on a match day.
In an effort to encourage as many people as possible to get involved, we are starting a brand new volunteer scheme.
The scheme offers our supporters the chance to volunteer their time and exchange their hard work for rewards such as match tickets, hospitality places, replica shirts and even season tickets! A full rewards chart will be available soon.
Designated volunteer days will be arranged regularly, whilst you can also volunteer anytime during the clubs business hours upon the approval of our volunteer coordinator (more on that later!).
In addition to this, volunteers who put in at least 5 hours a month will be entered into a monthly prize draw and key contributors will be recognized via social media, the website and in our match day programme.
As part of this new scheme, we are looking for someone to operate as our volunteer co-ordinator, with the hours spent in this role counting as volunteer hours which can be exchanged for rewards.
Our coordinator will be tasked with liaising between supporters and the club to communicate tasks that need to be completed as well as organizing suitable times for volunteers to attend Holker Street both on volunteer days and at other times.
We ask that anyone interested in this role contact Managing Director Andrew Casson by emailing us at email@example.com
Our volunteers are extremely important to the running of the football club and we could not exist without their support. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or via our social media channels!
To get us started, we are holding a volunteers afternoon next Sunday 8th July from 1pm-4pm. There will be something for everyone to do so please come on down to Holker Street and give it a try!
