Connor Brown Joins The Bluebirds

We have reached an agreement to sign defender Connor Brown!

Connor is a right back and started his youth career at home town club Sheffield United. He rose through the ranks of their academy before signing a professional contract in the summer of 2011.

Unable to make a break in to the first team, he joined Oldham in 2012. Brown, 25, made 89 appearances for the then League One side, scoring one goal in his 4 years at the club. Whilst at Oldham he had an eight game loan spell at Carlisle United.

In September 2016 he joined National League side Guiseley and made over 50 appearances at Nethermoor, before joining York City on loan earlier this year. He then joined the Bootham Crescent side after just four loan appearances.

Connor joins us having played from the start in yesterdays abandoned friendly against a Furness Select XI.

Welcome to Barrow Connor!
