Jack began his career with Tranmere Rovers and worked this way through the youth and reserve team systems. He has loan spells in 2008-09 with three clubs in the Evo-stik League – Burscough, Colwyn Bay and Cammell Laird and last season had a spell on loan in Blue square Bet North with Hyde. He was released by Rovers in the summer without making a first team appearance and joined Barrow in August 2011.
