(11)Born in Caernarfon, James began his career as a footballer with Chester City as a scholar and made his Football League debut for them during the 2008-09 season. He remained with them this season until January when he was released.
Owen joined Barrow at the start of March and made his debut against Salisbury City in the final home game of the 2009-2010 season.
