Ady Pennock – First Team Manager:
Adrian has a wealth of experience both as a player and manager and we are very excited to have him onboard to lead us forward.
Adrian has managed in both the conference and the football league, mostly recently at Gillingham after spells at both Forest Green and Welling United as manager.
He also spent 6 years at Stoke City as both a youth team and first team coach under Tony Pulis.
Grant Holt – Player/Coach:
Having started the season with Kings Lynn Town, we approached them regarding his availability and were informed that he had a 7 day notice period. Having waited several days, Kings Lynn waived that notice and Grant trained with the squad today and will do so again tomorrow.
Cumbria born and bred, Grant started his footballing career up the coast at Workington before making the switch to Halifax Town in Division 3.
After a loan spell at Holker Street, Grant made the move permanent later in 2001 and enjoyed a successful 2 year spell with us, earning him a move to Sheffield Wednesday and then Rochdale.
He made his breakthrough at the Dale and went on to make a name for himself in the football league and ultimately the Premiership with the likes of Aston Villa, Wigan Athletic and most notably Norwich City where he remains a firm fans favourite.
His success also extended over the Scottish border in 2016 when he played an instrumental part in Hibernians league success as they won promotion from the Scottish Championship to the Scottish Premier League.
Lindsay Davis – Physiotherapist / Fitness Coach:
Davis, 50, has worked with various clubs in countries around the world including India, Indonesia and Spain. He has worked with the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Jerez, held positions at various proffesional clubs including Oxford United Football Club and has also served secondments at Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona and Lokomotiv Moscow FC.
Lindsay brings a wealth of experience to our fitness, strength and conditioning programmes. His knowledge in areas such as nutrition, sports therapy, rehabilitation programs, conditioning, massage, agility and endurance building will be invaluable to our players moving forward.
