Five Leave Furness Building Society Stadium
Manager, Dave Bayliss has released five players at the end of the 2011/12 season with two players yet to be informed of their fate.
Captain, Phil Bolland is the biggest name in those let go, and leaves after three impressive seasons at Barrow.
Also released are fellow defenders Cliff Moyo, Andy Nicholas, Kelvin Lomax plus utility player, Paul Smith.
Yet to be informed, due to not being available on Friday, are midfielders Andy Ferrell and Robin Hulbert.
Adam Boyes has another year of his contract to run, while the rest of the squad have been offered new deals, namely:
'Keepers: Danny Hurst & Shaun Pearson
Defenders: Mike Pearson & Gavin Skelton
Midfielders: Richie Baker, Jack Mackreth, James Owen & Paul Rutherford
Striker: Andy Cook
