During the recent cup tie and replay against Chester, several smoke bombs were discharged within the grounds by Barrow supporters.
Smoke bombs are illegal and are banned from Holker Street. The two at Chester's ground were actually thrown onto the pitch, both landing close to the referee's assistant.
It has been suggested that the referee may be making a report to the FA regarding this incident and we await to see if this is the case.
If any person is identified as being responsible for bringing smoke bombs, or anything similar into Holker Street, or likewise is identified whilst travelling away to Barrow games with smoke bombs, they will be reported to the Police. In addition they will also be banned from Holker Street.
Do not bring smoke bombs to Barrow AFC's matches. They are dangerous and cause annoyance and discomfort to players, officials and other supporters. They could also lead to the club being given sanctions by the FA should a report be made to them, and this is the last thing anyone wants
