A brace from Paul Rutherford capped an all round fine Barrow performance as they put five past League 2 Morecambe at Holker Street.
Morecambe fielded a full strength squad, but were playing their first friendly of the summer.
Paul Rutherford opened the scoring early on from a Marc Goodfellow cross, before Goodfellow himself curled in Barrow's second. Jason Walker then gave Barrow a three goal half time cushion.
Walker had another ruled out for handball before Ciaran Donnely clinically rounded the Morecambe keeper to make it 4-0 before Rutheford superbly curled in Barrow's fifth.
Morecambe missed a couple of chances too.
The win was Barrow's second successive five goal salvo, following the one at albeit humbler Windscale on Saturday, when Phil Bolland, Walker 3 and Goodfellow were on target. Walker also missed a penalty.
