A 35-yard low drive from Jason Walker in stoppage time saw Barrow through to Round 2 of the FA Cup for the second successive season.
Despite being second best territorially for much of the tie, Walker's strike plus an equally fine 20 yard drive from Andy Cook, coupled with an inspired by Stu Tomlinson in the Barrow goal saw The Bluebirds home.
Tomlinson had made two fine saves before COOK looped the ball over Jason Matthews from just outside the box in the 35th minute.
After the break, the Visitors continued to dominate but Andy Bond and Carlos Logan spurned chances to put the tie to bed.
With 6 minutes remaining Eastleigh equalised from close range after two point blank Tomlinson svaes, before ANDY FORBES smashed in.
A long trek down to Hampshire looked a certainty, but the ginger-haired Barrovian WALKER had different ideas, and amazingly drilled the ball into the far corner from a good fifteen yards outside the box when the ball fell to him.
