Sheridan earns Penrith Win

Darren Sheridan's 74th minute free kick gave Barrow a well deserved 1-0 Friendly win at Penrith on Wednesday.

Barrow dominated throughout and restricted the home side to very few opportunities but missed several good chances themselves.

Danny Forrest had a header cleared off the line and Nick Chadwick shot straight at the keeper when clean through.

Barrow next travel to Matt Henney's Windscale United on Saturday.
