Andy Firth has today joined Glasgow Rangers
Bluebirds Keeper Andy Firth has today joined Glasgow Rangers for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
Born in Ripon, Andy rose through the Liverpool academy system whilst having spells on loan at Witton Albion and at then National League side Chester. He left Liverpool in the summer of 2018 and joined Barrow in July, making his debut on the opening day of the season against Havant & Waterlooville.
Firth made 18 appearances for us earlier this season and heads to Ibrox to join up with Rangers manager Steven Gerrard who he worked with during his time at Anfield.
We thank Andy for all of his efforts in a Barrow shirt and wish him all the very best for the future.
