Our game against Dagenham has been postponed
Our Vanarama National League clash with Dagenham & Redbridge, scheduled for Saturday 15th February, has been postponed.
With a number of factors at play, we were keen to get a final decision confirmed as early as possible, to reduce the disruption caused to Dagenham & Redbridge players and staff, as well as to reduce the risk of any wasted journeys for all supporters.
Heavy rain throughout the morning and early afternoon on Friday left the pitch at the Progression Solicitors Stadium unplayable, with further heavy rain due before the scheduled kick off time of 3pm on Saturday.
In addition, extremely strong winds are forecast on Saturday afternoon due to Storm Dennis, contributing to the decision to postpone the game with the safety of players and supporters in mind.
A new date for the game has not been confirmed, though we hope to stage the game on Saturday 29th February when both teams are currently without a game due to the FA Trophy. Should all parties agree this new date, we expect to receive confirmation of the change early next week.
Anyone who purchased tickets online will be able to use their ticket for the re-arranged game, whenever it takes place. If you would prefer a refund, please email us at email@example.com.
