Bucket Collection To Be Held v Torquay

Please give what you can!

A bucket collection for two worthy causes is being held at the Progression Solicitors Stadium when we host Torquay United on Saturday.

Prior to our game against Bromley, BBC Radio Cumbria presenter Mike Zeller placed a charity bet on Barrow to win 7-0 for a third time this year.

His charity of choice was the Jigsaw Hospice and he asked Bluebirds boss Ian Evatt to nominate a charity of choice, the manager choosing St Mary’s Hospice.

Though the Bluebirds didn’t quite win 7-0, Chairman Paul Hornby gatecrashed the hosts radio show in the week, with a fantastic offer to hold a bucket collection at the game so the charities don’t miss out.

Buckets will be with each programme seller on the turnstiles on match day, please give what you can!
