Retail And Ticket Office Manager

The Club is now welcoming applications for the full-time role of Retail and Ticket Office Manager.

Based at the stadium and reporting to the Chief Executive, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the running of the Club’s Retail Department and Ticket Office.

Part Time Academy Coaches

Barrow AFC has recently unveiled its new vision for young players across the region, transitioning to a Category 4 Academy in 2022/23, and taking teams from U11-U16 into the Junior Premier League.

Part-time staff should expect to coach between 1.5 and 3 hours per week dependent on training and fixture schedules, including evenings and weekends. There are up to 2 roles available including Age Group Lead Coach.

Salary: £15.00 per session (Lead Coach), increased pay for fixtures.

Head Physiotherapist

Barrow AFC is seeking a Head Physiotherapist to join the First Team backroom staff based at the Club’s Greater Manchester training facility.

The successful applicant will lead The Bluebirds’ Medical Department, ensuring the provision of the best in medical care for all First Team players both at the training ground during the week and at all First Team matches.

As well as all the essential academic qualifications, the Club is seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual who has a minimum of two years’ experience working in the medical department of a professional football club.

Bar Staff

The Club is looking to hire a number of staff to work behind the bars across the ground and in our hospitality areas.

The successful candidates’ main duties will be to serve drinks to supporters, maintaining a professional approach to customer service, hygiene and cleanliness at all times.

Corporate Box Host

The Club is looking for friendly and charismatic individuals to look after our VIP guests on matchday at The Progression Solicitors Stadium.

This role will include food and beverage service to guests and must be carried out with the utmost professionalism in order to best represent the Club to our corporate clients.


  • Over the age of 18
  • Experience in waiting/food service


  • Previous bar tending experience

Food Stall Staff

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals to help look after home supporters on matchday by serving food from our stalls at The Progression Solicitors Stadium.

This role will involve serving soft drinks, warm food and snacks to fans so a high standard of professionalism, hygiene and cleanliness will be required, as well as a confidence in taking payments.

Matchday Stewards

The Club is currently looking to increase the number of Safety Stewards for roles on matchday at The Progression Solicitors Stadium.

Applicants must be over 18, demonstrate good people skills, be able to operate as part of a team and a remain calm under pressure.

Successful individuals will be provided with full training by the Club which can lead to a nationally recognised qualification.

Turnstile Operators

The Club is looking to hire a number of Turnstile Operators to manage the arrival of supporters and ensure a safe entry into The Progression Solicitors Stadium during 2021/22.

Candidates must be approachable and friendly in manner to take on their duties of allowing fans entry to the stadium via turnstiles using a handheld scanner.
