Dixon’s The One!
Two Bluebirds stars will reach landmark appearances for the club should they play a part in Saturdays Vanarama National League clash with Torquay at the Progression Solicitors Stadium on Saturday.
Joel Dixon, our longest serving player, will pull on the jersey for the 150th time, whilst Lewis Hardcastle is just one appearance away from his 50th for the club.
Dixon joined us in June 2015 after leaving Sunderland and made his debut on the opening day of the 2015/16 season in our 2-1 win over Dover Athletic.
During his time for the club he has represented England C at a training camp and overcome a serious knee injury to stake a claim as the Bluebirds number 1.
He currently leads the National League table for clean sheets, with 14 of them in just 31 league games.
Hardcastle initially joined the club on loan from Blackburn Rovers last season, before making the move to the Progression Solicitors Stadium permanent.
He spent his whole youth career at Rovers, with loan spells at Salford and Port Vale before joining us. He will be looking to add to his tally of two goals for the season on Saturday.
Byron Harrison is just five appearances away from his 100th in a Barrow shirt, whilst Connor Brown is five away from his 50th.
