News of two new arrivals for the Bluebirds!
We are delighted to announce the signings of strikers Scott Quigley and Dior Angus!
Scott arrives on a three year deal, whilst Dior makes the permanent switch to the Bluebirds on a one year deal with a further years option.
Quigley, 26, was born in Shrewsbury and spent his youth career at The New Saints in Wales. He went on to represent the first team at Park Hall and his form saw him catch the attention of Blackpool, the striker joining the Seasiders in August 2017.
Whilst at Bloomfield Road he has spent time on loan at League Two side Port Vale as well as fellow National League sides Wrexham and FC Halifax Town, meaning he arrives with plenty of experience at this level.
The Bluebirds beat several other clubs to his signature and we are delighted to welcome him to the FBS Stadium!
Joining him on the Bluebirds books next term is a familiar face in Dior Angus who joins permanently having spent time with us on loan from Port Vale at the end of last season, scoring 2 goals in 11 games.
The 24-year old signed for the Valiants last year, with a fantastic record at non-league level where he had scored 17 goals in 23 games in the Southern Premier Division.
Angus started his career off with fellow National League side Solihull Moors and enjoyed loan spells with Leamington and Banbury before joining Kidderminster Harriers as a 19-year old.
He since turned out for the Harriers as well as Worcester City, Daventry and Stratford before joining Redditch United, where the striker enjoyed an impressive stay at The Valley. His form there attracted quite a bit of attention, making the step up into the Football League when the transfer window opened in January last year.
He spent time on loan at Tamworth and Nuneaton before joining us last season and we are delighted to welcome him back permanently!
Welcome, Scott and welcome back, Dior!
