Good news for the Bluebirds!
Bluebirds ace Josh Kay has signed a new contract with the club, which sees him stay until at least the end of the 2020/21 season!
The attacking midfielder has been in sensational form this season, with some superb performances accompanying fantastic goals such as his long range strike against Chorley at the Progression Solicitors Stadium.
Born in Blackpool, Josh began his career with Squires Gate before joining the AFC Fylde set up. He made a single first team appearance for the Coasters before joining Barnsley for an undisclosed fee in February 2016. He was only to make one Championship appearance for the Tykes and had a one game loan spell back at AFC Fylde back in February 2017 and two game loan spell at Tranmere Rovers in November of the same year.
He joined Chesterfield in League Two in January 2018 and made eleven League appearances for them before being released in June 2018 and joining Barrow. He made his debut on the opening day of last season against Havant & Waterlooville.
His new deal was signed before our incredible 7-0 win over Ebbsfleet this afternoon and runs until the end of next season.
