David Dunn has admitted his excitement after completing a deal to bring Fleetwood Town midfielder Harrison Biggins to The Progression Solicitors Stadium on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old star has been on Dunn’s radar for a while and he’s thrilled that the move has been given the green light ahead of the new campaign.
The Bluebirds boss has made no secret of his desire to add more new faces to his squad and Biggins’ arrival marks another transfer breakthrough as the big kick-off edges closer.
A former Barnsley trainee, the central midfielder has played plenty of EFL football already and Dunn is confident he will have a lot to offer during his stay with Barrow.
“We’re delighted to have Harrison on board and we have to thank Fleetwood Town for allowing him to join us,” Dunn explained.
“Harrison is someone that I have known about for a while and I have tracked his progress since he joined Fleetwood.
“He is a very good young player so we are very happy to have been able to bring him in.
“He will bring some energy and creativity to the middle of the pitch and will excite fans. He also has experience in the EFL too so we’re all looking forward to seeing what he can do with us.”
Biggins has been handed squad number 25 for the 2020/21 season.
