We are delighted to announce the arrival of talented central defender James Jones, who has signed from Altrincham for an undisclosed fee.
The 23 year old defender signed for Alty back in the summer of 2017 and has featured over 100 times for them, scoring 13 times in the process.
The Wrexham born defender is well known to Bluebirds striker Scott Quigley, having played with him previously at Welsh side TNS, where he went through their youth set up.
For the second time in a week, the Bluebirds fought off competition to capture his signature and he signs on a two year deal. He joined up with his teammates earlier today as the squad returned to training in small groups, the first stage of a return to full training in around 10 days time.
He will wear the number 14 for the Bluebirds.
