The Barrow players have been settling into their new surroundings on Thursday morning after switching their training base to Egerton Youth Club.
David Dunn’s men got straight down to business at their new home, putting in the work ahead of Saturday’s League Two game against Harrogate Town.
“This is huge for us and we’re really pleased to be making the move to Egerton,” said Dunn.
“I won’t be disrespectful to the facilities we have had because the people there have been really accommodating and tried to help us as much as possible.
“I have been lucky enough to have been at some wonderful training ground during my career and that’s all very well and it’s great to have that – but the main facility you can have is a really good pitch.
“That has been really challenging for us because we want to play good football and the only way to do that is to practice it every day so hopefully we can start playing a bit quicker and get better now.”
We would like to thank Tom and everyone connected with Egerton FC with their help in ensuring all has run smoothly with our switch of venue.
