David Dunn has moved in to the transfer market to snap up exciting young striker Jayden Reid on loan from Championship outfit Birmingham City.
The 19-year-old starlet has agreed a deal to join The Bluebirds until the start of January and will link-up with his new teammates for the first time on Monday morning.
A former Manchester United youngster, Reid moved on to spend time as a scholar with Swansea City before earning a professional deal at Birmingham in the summer of 2019 following a successful trial.
The teenager was in and around the First Team at St Andrews towards the end of last term and he made four substitute appearances for the club in the Championship.
Now City boss Aitor Karanka has given the go-ahead for Reid to go out on loan and Dunn made his move to bring the highly-rated youngster to The Progression Solicitors Stadium.
