Craig Rutherford and Sam Hird will lead the Bluebirds today after Manager David Dunn tested positive for Covid-19.

After presenting with symptoms early this week, David began self-isolating immediately and has been absent from training since. He subsequently received a positive test result late last night.

Assistant Manager Rob Kelly will also now be self-isolating in line with government guidelines.

Following consultation with the EFL, today’s game against Harrogate Town will proceed as scheduled.

The squad are in good spirits on the back of a good week on the training ground and are fully prepared for today’s game. Craig and Sam will be assisted remotely by David and Rob.

All necessary precautions have been taken by the Club in line with EFL and government guidelines.

The squad are in good spirits and are determined to proceed with today’s game and record their first win of the season this afternoon at The EnviroVent Stadium.

Most importantly, we wish David a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the touchline as soon as it is safe for him to return.
