Barrow duo Rob Kelly and Patrick Brough have missed out on top prizes after being shortlisted for League Two awards for the month of March.
Kelly was nominated for League Two Manager of the Month after guiding The Bluebirds to four wins in a row during March as they gave themselves a platform in the fight for EFL survival.
However, former Barrow boss Ian Evatt has taken the prize after another excellent month for Bolton Wanderers who are hoping to gate-crash the League Two automatic promotion party.
Meanwhile, Brough was on the list for League Two’s Player of the Month award for March following a superb month in which he scored twice in the important win over Mansfield Town.
However, the Bluebirds star has been pipped by Exeter City man Matt Jay who helped himself to five goals during March and also set up another to keep The Grecians in the hunt for a play-off spot.
