The Bluebirds boss opened up on what has been an emotional week for him and his family following the death of his father, Terry on Saturday.
Cooper paid tribute to a "great player, a great guy and a really good dad" and admitted that the many tributes paid to the former Leeds United and England great had given comfort.
He returned to the Barrow training ground on Thursday and insisted that his full focus would now be on ensuring the perfect preparation for Saturday's game at Stevenage.
