Barrow have been handed a home tie against Aston Villa in the Second Round of the Carabao Cup.
Mark Cooper’s men were in the hat for the next stage after Dimitri Sea’s spectacular overhead kick was enough to see them past Scunthorpe United at Holker Street on Tuesday.
The draw was made live on Sky Sports on Wednesday evening when The Bluebirds were paired with Dean Smith’s Premier League outfit.
It will be the first time the two clubs have met in competitive action.
