It has been confirmed that Barrow’s Carabao Cup Second Round tie against Aston Villa will be televised live on Sky Sports on Tuesday 24th August (7.45pm kick-off).
Mark Cooper’s men overcame Scunthorpe United 1-0 in Round One and were subsequently paired with the Premier League outfit in Wednesday evening’s Second Round draw.
It will be the second season in succession that The Bluebirds have been on live television in the competition after last year’s First Round tie at Derby County was also broadcast on Sky Sports.
There has been huge interest in the tie from both Barrow and Villa fans since it was drawn on Wednesday and we’ll confirm full ticket information as soon as possible.
