Team News: Barrow v Harrogate Town

19 August 2021

We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Saturday’s League Two meeting with Harrogate Town at The EnviroVent Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Dimitri Sea is set to remain sidelined for this weekend’s trip to Harrogate Town as the Club follows the concussion protocols following his substitution against Hartlepool United last weekend.

Jamie Devitt is still nursing a thigh injury so won’t be involved, while Matt Platt is continuing to receive treatment for a back injury and is doubtful to face Town.

Mike Jones is still a little way short of fitness following surgery on his Achilles and Tom Beadling is out for a longer period after suffering a partial tear to his cruciate ligament.

Harrogate boss Simon Weaver must assess the fitness of his squad following an enforced two-week break due to an outbreak of COVID-19 at the club.

Five players tested positive for the virus, though some were affected more than others and Weaver is hopeful of having at least two of them available for selection this weekend.
