Murray Among Sky Sports Team For Tuesday

23 August 2021

We have been taking a closer look at which presenters, pundits and commentators will be covering Barrow’s game against Aston Villa on Sky Sports on Tuesday night.

The Carabao Cup tie against the Premier League outfit will represent the first time that The Bluebirds have ever been live on Sky at home and it’s a fixture which has caught the imagination of the Barrow public.

Caroline Barker will host the show from the Sky Sports studio, where she will be joined by former Barrow front man Glenn Murray, who scored nine goals in nine appearances for The Bluebirds in 2004.

Also on the panel in the studio will be former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie, who starred for the Midlands outfit over 250 times and also won an England cap whilst on the books at Villa Park.

Guy Havord will be the touchline reporter, keeping an eye on things pitch-side, and also carrying out interviews with the managers and players before and after the game.

Meanwhile, commentary will be provided by David Stowell who will be in the gantry to describe the action alongside former Wales international Danny Gabbidon.

Live coverage will start at 7.30pm on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
