Vacancies: Matchday Staff Needed

The Club is still recruiting for staff to join our Events and Matchday team at Holker Street for the 2021/22 campaign.

A number of different roles are available as listed below and applications remain open.

Bar Staff
The Club is looking to hire a number of staff to work behind the bars across the ground and in our hospitality areas.

The successful candidates’ main duties will be to serve drinks to supporters, maintaining a professional approach to customer service, hygiene and cleanliness at all times.

Essential

  • Over the age of 18
  • Confident taking payments

Desirable

  • Previous bar and till-operating experience
  • Cellar training

Corporate Box Host
The Club is looking for friendly and charismatic individuals to look after our VIP guests on matchday at Holker Street.

This role will include food and beverage service to guests and must be carried out with the utmost professionalism in order to best represent the Club to our corporate clients.

Essential

  • Over the age of 18
  • Experience in waiting/food service

Desirable

  • Previous bar tending experience

Food Stall Staff
We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals to help look after home supporters on matchday by serving food from our stalls at Holker Street.

This role will involve serving soft drinks, warm food and snacks to fans so a high standard of professionalism, hygiene and cleanliness will be required, as well as a confidence in taking payments.

Matchday Stewards
The Club is currently looking to increase the number of Safety Stewards for roles on matchday at Holker Street.

Applicants must be over 18, demonstrate good people skills, be able to operate as part of a team and a remain calm under pressure.

Successful individuals will be provided with full training by the Club which can lead to a nationally recognised qualification.

Turnstile Operators
The Club is looking to hire a number of Turnstile Operators to manage the arrival of supporters and ensure a safe entry into Holker Street during 2021/22.

Candidates must be approachable and friendly in manner to take on their duties of allowing fans entry to the stadium via turnstiles using a handheld scanner.
