Dior Angus Leaves To Join Wrexham

1 February 2021

Dior Angus has had his Barrow contract cancelled by mutual consent and the front man has now completed a move to National League side Wrexham.

The 27-year-old joined The Bluebirds on a permanent deal in the summer of 2019 after spending a successful loan spell with the Club during the second half of the previous campaign.

Angus went on to hit double figures last season and his goals played a huge role in Barrow’s eventual promotion as National League champions.

He went on to write his name in to the history books when he struck home the Club’s first goal in the Football League in almost 50 years from the penalty spot against Stevenage in September.

However, Angus has found himself outside of the starting eleven in recent weeks and boss Michael Jolley has now agreed for him to be able to move on in pursuit of more regular First Team football.

“Dior made a huge contribution to getting Barrow promoted last season and everyone at the Club recognises that,” said Jolley.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for our time working together and wish him the very best of luck for his future.”

Angus made a total of 75 appearances in all competitions for The Bluebirds, hitting the net 19 times in the process.

Everyone at the Football Club would like to thank him for his efforts and wish him every success in his future career.
