Our trip to Salford City next month has been postponed after the EFL confirmed that The Ammies will instead compete in last season's Papa John's Trophy Final that weekend.

The EFL has today confirmed that a unique action-packed ‘Wembley Weekender’ of football will take place in March for the 2020 and 2021 Papa John’s Trophy Finals.

In an EFL Trophy first, the two finals will be played in succession over the weekend of 13th-14th March 2021, with last year’s postponed match between Portsmouth and Salford City taking place first on Saturday 13th March followed by the 2021 Final on Sunday 14th March. Both matches will be staged at Wembley Stadium, kicking-off at 3pm - with the action broadcast live on Sky Sports.

As a result, our scheduled League Two fixture against Salford City due to be played on Saturday 13th March has now been postponed.

No new date for the game against The Ammies has been decided but we will bring you details as soon as they are confirmed.
