Michael Jolley has revealed that Luke James is on the mend after being knocked unconscious in a nasty clash of heads during Saturday’s 1-0 win over Scunthorpe United.
The Bluebirds forward received more than ten minutes of treatment on the pitch midway through the second half before being stretchered off and taken to hospital for further checks.
“Unfortunately, he was knocked unconscious on the field of play,” explained Jolley.
“Although he regained consciousness in the dressing room, he was able to sit up and talk to people, he has still gone to hospital to get checked out which is the right thing to do.
“All our thoughts are with him and hopefully it’s not too serious and he will be okay.”
