Courtney Baker-Richardson has joined Barnet on loan for the rest of the season.

The front man joined Barrow at the start of October but suffered a hip injury which required an operation and has prevented him from making his Bluebirds debut.

However, the 25-year-old has been working hard to return to fitness and now boss Michael Jolley has given the go-ahead for him to make the move to Barnet to get some games under his belt.

“Courtney has been unfortunate that his time at Barrow has been dominated by injury,” said Jolley.

“This loan represents a chance for him to play games and rebuild his fitness and sharpness.

“We wish him well and thank him for his professionalism and hard work during his time with us.”

Baker-Richardson will link up with The Bees in time to go into contention for their home fixture against National League leaders Torquay United at The Hive on Saturday.
