Players Return To Pre-Season Training

2 July 2021

The Barrow squad reported back for the first day of pre-season training on Thursday as new boss Mark Cooper got to grips with preparations for the new campaign.

With final work ongoing on required modifications to the Club’s new training base in Bury, the players were welcomed to Witton Albion where they will be put through their paces ahead of a training camp in Scotland.

Cooper, alongside Assistant Manager Richard Dryden, will oversee a gruelling week of work for the players before they play their first pre-season friendly at Holker Old Boys next Saturday.

The journey North of the border to Largs will follow, as the squad spend a week at the Inverclyde National Sports Centre to take their pre-season work to the next level.

We’ll have more coverage on the players’ return to training in the early part of next week so keep your eyes on the Official Website and our social media channels.
