Richard Dryden has revealed that he is brimming with enthusiasm for the work that lies ahead and is determined to shape a Club and a team that Barrow fans can be proud of.
The Assistant Manager, alongside boss Mark Cooper, has overseen a return to pre-season training over the past week and he admitted that there is a real buzz around the place.
With plenty of hard miles to put in ahead of the fresh campaign, Dryden says there are important weeks in front of them which can lay the foundations for a successful 2021/22.
“It’s great being back,” he told iFollow.
“The time off flies by but when you’re back in with the lads, this is the best job in the world.
“There is a lot of building to do here and we make no bones about that – but we’re here for the long-term hopefully and we can do that building job.
“It’s still very early days in pre-season but the attitude has been good, and we’ll get a lot of work done when we go North next week and put those blocks in place for the season.”
