Barrow’s pre-season preparations step up a gear on Saturday when they are in friendly action for the first time against Holker Old Boys at Rakesmoor Lane (1pm kick-off).
The players have been back in training just over a week as they put in some hard work ahead of the fresh campaign and they will be looking forward to their opening contest on the pitch this weekend.
Mark Cooper has added seven new signings to his squad since being appointed as boss in May and supporters will get the chance to see some of them in action on Saturday.
Tickets for the game are only available online in advance so if you want to be there to watch the lads this weekend then you need to buy your tickets by the end of Friday.
