The Barrow squad arrived safely at their training base in Scotland on Sunday ahead of a week of hard work at the Inverclyde National Sports Training Centre.

Mark Cooper’s men spent Sunday evening in a private room cheering England on in the Euro 2020 Final against Italy which eventually ended in penalty shootout heartbreak.

The players were up bright and early on Monday to do some activation work before getting on the training pitch during a morning session, with a gym workout planned for the afternoon.

The Bluebirds will train in Largs, North Ayrshire for the remainder of the week before returning home in time to make a friendly trip to Spennymoor Town on Saturday.
