Another Barrow fan takes centre-stage today as we continue our summer series turning the spotlight on those in the terraces at The Progression Solicitors Stadium.

Up next is Steven James, a housekeeper who is a regular at Barrow and attends games in the Holker End with his partner.

Who did we play in your first Barrow game and what are your memories of the day?
Oxford United, and we won 3-0 in front of the cameras that day too.

Which Barrow match that you’ve seen stands out more than most and why?
Barrow v Brentford in the FA Cup. It was the fullest I have seen the stadium and the atmosphere was amazing.

Who has been your favourite all-time Barrow player and why?
Jason Walker because he is Barrow-born and he scored that amazing winning goal at Wembley in the FA Trophy Final.

Who is your favourite current Barrow player and why?
Scott Quigley because he always gives 100% effort in every game.

Who do you think has been the most underrated Barrow player during your time watching and why?
Jamie Devitt. He is quick, always in the right place in the box and he scored too when we need him to.

Which has been your favourite Barrow goal that you’ve seen live and why?
The goal we scored a couple of seasons ago at home to Salford - that great volley shot in the second half from Kemy Agustien.

What is the favourite away ground you have visited and why?
Bolton Wanderers – just for the size and atmosphere.

What are your hopes for Barrow in the 2021/22 season?
Play-offs or promotion.
