Leicester City Under-21s have joined Barrow’s group for the first stage of this season’s Papa John’s Trophy.
The Bluebirds were placed into Northern Group G alongside Accrington Stanley and Fleetwood Town earlier in the week, while The Foxes youngsters have been added in a draw made live on Sky Sports News on Thursday afternoon.
It has also been confirmed that Barrow will play at home against Fleetwood and Leicester Under-21s and away at Accrington in this year’s competition.
The group stages are set to begin in the week commencing 30th August and we’ll have more details on our fixtures as soon as they are confirmed.
