Barrow fan Adam Brown got a surprise when he called into the Club to renew his Season Ticket on Wednesday morning – when he was told he was the 1,000th fan to sign-up for 2021/22.
Supporters have been showing their loyalty throughout the summer in snapping up Season Tickets for the fresh League Two campaign and sales figures have now hit a monumental landmark.
With over a month still to go until the big kick-off, the Club will now be aiming to move past last year’s total of around 1,100 by the time the first home league game gets underway against Hartlepool United on Saturday 14th August.
Adam, who works at Asda, has been supporting The Bluebirds for over 20 years since first catching the bug whilst helping his dad's cousin to run one of the burger vans at the stadium!
The 26-year-old has been a Season Ticket holder for the last five years and is looking forward to cheering Mark Cooper’s men on from the Holker End alongside his friends.
“I can’t wait for the new season now,” admitted Adam, who says Paul Jones’ is his all-time favourite Bluebirds player.
“I’ve got so many great memories of following Barrow already – the FA Trophy win at Wembley, the win over Notts County at Meadow Lane in the promotion season and winning promotion from Conference North all stand out.
“Hopefully, we can create some new ones in 2021/22 because everything seems to be feeling really positive around the Club at the moment.
“I used to get in for free and get a free burger when I helped out as a kid, but I don’t mind paying these days and I am sure it’s going to be worth every penny!”
