Tyrell Egbri escapes a few Barrow challenges and lets fly with a shot which finds a way past Joel Dixon and puts Southend in front.

Tyler Cordner tries his luck from long range for Southend but his powerful strike takes a deflection and flashes wide of the post.

The second half is underway - Ollie Banks is on in place of Tom Beadling for Barrow.

Half time and it's all square here - Scott Quigley's opener for Barrow cancelled out by John White's volley.

Jamie Devitt wriggles brilliantly past a couple of defenders and slides Scott Quigley in and he rounds the keeper to find the net - but the flag is up for offside.

Southend are level as a whipped free kick from Ricky Holmes is brilliantly volleyed into the top corner from twelve yards to make it 1-1.

Scott Quigley is released through the middle by Luke James and he keeps his composure to sidefoot home his 15th goal of the season. Barrow lead 1-0.

John White fires on goal from a Southend corner but Tom Beadling blocks.

Scott Quigley does well to run on to Luke James' early ball forward but his left foot shot is too high to trouble Southend keeper Mark Oxley.

First chance of the game goes Southend's way as Ricky Holmes cleverly turns inside fromt the right but his curling drive is parried away by Joel Dixon.
