Lovely football from Barrow down the right as Ollie Banks trades passes with Calvin Andrew before sending a shot just over the bar. Would have been a great goal.

Chris Taylor comes on for Barrow, as Luke James makes way.

Greg Halford finds an angle on the right of the box to have a go at goal but his low shot is watched into the side netting by Joel Dixon.

Ollie Banks drops a dangerous free kick into the Southend penalty area and Matt Platt forces a shot on goal but it's bravely blocked by keeper Mark Oxley.

Double change for Barrow - Calvin Andrew and Dimitri Sea are on to replace Jamie Devitt and Scott Quigley.

Southend make their first change as Brandon Goodship comes on in place of the injured Reeco Hackett-Fairchild.

Patrick Brough fires a shot on goal which is deflected wide and then Matt Platt's header from the resultant corner is well held by keeper Mark Oxley.

Patrick Brough is on for Barrow - he's replaced Josh Kay.

Tyrell Egbri escapes a few Barrow challenges and lets fly with a shot which finds a way past Joel Dixon and puts Southend in front.

Tyler Cordner tries his luck from long range for Southend but his powerful strike takes a deflection and flashes wide of the post.

The second half is underway - Ollie Banks is on in place of Tom Beadling for Barrow.

Half time and it's all square here - Scott Quigley's opener for Barrow cancelled out by John White's volley.

Jamie Devitt wriggles brilliantly past a couple of defenders and slides Scott Quigley in and he rounds the keeper to find the net - but the flag is up for offside.

Southend are level as a whipped free kick from Ricky Holmes is brilliantly volleyed into the top corner from twelve yards to make it 1-1.

Scott Quigley is released through the middle by Luke James and he keeps his composure to sidefoot home his 15th goal of the season. Barrow lead 1-0.

John White fires on goal from a Southend corner but Tom Beadling blocks.

Scott Quigley does well to run on to Luke James' early ball forward but his left foot shot is too high to trouble Southend keeper Mark Oxley.

First chance of the game goes Southend's way as Ricky Holmes cleverly turns inside fromt the right but his curling drive is parried away by Joel Dixon.
