Barrow AFC Performance Centre has announced plans to hold two open training sessions for Under 9s in June for players across Cumbria and Lancashire.
The free sessions are open to current Under 8 players (those currently in Year 8 at school) and they will take place at Brisbane Park All Weather Pitch in Barrow.
There will be two sessions per night which will take place on:
Wednesday 16th June (5.30pm – 6.30pm and 6.45pm – 7.45pm)
Wednesday 23rd June (5.30pm – 6.30pm and 6.45pm – 7.45pm)
Youngsters are being asked to register in advance to attend the training nights, following which selected players will be invited to attend a further session on Friday 25th June.
The sessions will be delivered by our Barrow AFC coaching team and will be fun yet challenging.
There is an opportunity for selected players to represent The Bluebirds during the 2021/22 season, in which we will aim to provide:
- Weekly training sessions designed by dedicated, highly-qualified coaches
- Casual games programme against other clubs, development centres and academies
- Off-field opportunities and training
- Recognised goalkeeper sessions delivered by one of the North West’s top coaches
