Matchday Guide: Banbury United

4 November 2021

In order to try and make your visit to The Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium as comfortable and straightforward as possible, we’re able to provide this matchday guide.

Tickets
Tickets for this fixture are no longer available.

Barrow fans who do not have a ticket are urged not to travel as there will be none available at Banbury on the day of the game.

Away Fans
Saturday’s game is segregated, and Barrow supporters will be located in an area of the terraced Town End and also in a small area of the seated Main Stand.

The gates will open at 3pm and away fans should enter the stadium via the Town End turnstiles. You can access these by walking down the slip road off Station Approach until you see some white light industrial units and a gym ahead of you. Turn right there and approximately 50 yards down on the left you will find the turnstiles.

Bluebirds supporters will be able to access the tea bar where they can buy hot and cold food as well as non-alcoholic beverages and use temporary toilets. There is no bar in the away end.

Parking
Due to the requirements of accredited personnel, there is no spectator parking at the ground on Saturday except for blue badge holders. Fans also aren’t permitted to park on Station Approach.

Supporters are encouraged to use public transport or use a Pay & Display car park in the town centre and then walk to the ground to avoid congestion.

Banbury United have linked-up with Chiltern Railways to arrange free parking for supporters at the Railway Station from 2.30pm in the car park just off Station Approach (OX16 5AB). Fans can also use the multi-storey car park on Banbury Station East (OX16 4QR). Spaces are obviously not unlimited, and it will be first come first served. Fans are asked to follow the guidance of stewards when parking.

Match Programme
The Puritans have printed a special 76-page souvenir Programme for Saturday’s game which will be available at a price of £3.

Club Shop
Banbury have temporarily relocated their Club Shop to the stage in the Clubhouse.

COVID-19
Banbury United encourage all supporters to have regard to the government’s current guidance concerning COVID-19 and to be mindful of the welfare of other supporters and volunteers.
