George Williams’ goal in the game at Walsall has been selected as Barrow’s Goal of the Month for October after a very closely contested fans’ vote.
The midfielder’s clinical finish on the end of a flowing move from The Bluebirds clinched just enough votes from supporters to hold on to top spot.
In one of the most competitive votes we’ve had, Robbie Gotts’ thunderous strike against Leyton Orient came a very close second with fans.
It means Williams’ first goal for the Club is now voted as Goal of the Month for October – not a bad way for the Bluebirds star to open his account!
