Disabled Supporters' Association To Hold Meeting

11 October 2021

An open meeting of the newly formed Disabled Supporters’ Association is to be held at The Dunes Hotel Stadium on Monday 11th October at 6pm.

All are welcome to attend the meeting, which offer the chance to directly influence and offer suggestions on how to improve the matchday experience for disabled Bluebirds supporters.

We are delighted to see that the numbers of disabled supporters attending Barrow games have doubled since the Club moved to make improvements to facilities. However, we know that there is plenty of work still to be done.

Acting on feedback from both home and away fans and working in conjunction with the Level Playing Field organisation, Barrow Disabled Supporters’ Association is now going from strength to strength.

One of the BDSA’s first initiatives is to provide away travel to the derby fixture at Carlisle United in November, which will be supported by the sale of limited edition ‘All Bluebirds Are Blue’ pin badges on the Bluebirds Trust website.

Click here if you would like to purchase a pin badge.

Supporters who are interested in attending the BDSA meeting on Monday 11th October should report to Main Reception at The Dunes Hotel Stadium with things set to get underway at 6pm.
