Mark Cooper will welcome back both Mark Ellis and James Jones from suspension for Friday evening’s return to action against Newport County.
Club Captain Ellis has completed a three-game suspension following his red card against Bristol Rovers, while Jones missed the trip to Bradford City after seeing red against Colchester United.
The Bluebirds remain without Tom Beadling, Connor Brown, Jamie Devitt, Luke James, Mike Jones, Kgosi Ntlhe and Matt Platt who are all still injured.
Newport boss Michael Flynn is expected to have keeper Joe Day available for selection on Friday after the keeper missed their weekend win over Walsall with a thigh injury.
Nick Townsend deputised between the sticks for The Exiles during the 2-1 win over The Saddlers but now Flynn must decide whether to restore Day to the starting line-up to face Barrow.
