We take a look at the latest information from both camps ahead of Saturday’s League Two encounter at The One Call Stadium (3pm kick-off).
Mark Cooper will have to assess the fitness of Dimitri Sea ahead of Saturday’s game at Mansfield Town after the front man felt a niggle in his hamstring during training on Monday.
Defender Connor Brown is also hoping to make a return to training before the end of the week as he looks to overcome a troublesome groin injury.
Striker Luke James is making good progress and is aiming to be back on the training pitch in the early part of next week after a foot injury has kept him sidelined.
However, Bluebirds boss Cooper has confirmed that Tom Beadling (knee), Jamie Devitt (thigh), Mike Jones (Achilles), Kgosi Ntlhe (knee) and Matt Platt (back) are not expected back imminently.
Mansfield boss Nigel Clough has his own injury and suspension problems to contend with ahead of Barrow’s visit to One Call Stadium this weekend.
The Stags picked up a useful point on the road at Leyton Orient last time out but it came at a cost as Tyrese Sinclair was sent-off and George Maris picked up an injury.
That means Town could be without up to seven players this weekend, though they are boosted by the return to contention of Ollie Clarke after he completed a three-game ban following his red card against Harrogate Town.
Stephen Quinn is still serving an extended six-game suspension after his sending-off in the same game so won’t be available, while the influential James Perch is likely to remain unavailable due to injury.
Clough is waiting for further updates on Ryan Stirk (ankle) and Kellan Gordon (knee) but neither will feature against Barrow, while Maris’ eye problem will be assessed, and Oli Hawkins will hope to shake off a back problem to play.
