The Club is continuing to strengthen behind the scenes as Montserrat Lomeli join the team to assist with business and matchday operations.
Currently studying Sport Management at Northumbria University, Montse will spend 12 weeks on placement at The Dunes Hotel Stadium, working across all areas of the Club’s administration.
“I’m really excited to be joining Barrow,” she told us.
“I’m only here for a relatively short time but I am looking forward to getting involved to help, but also learn as much as possible about the operations of the Football Club.
“I didn’t think I would be able to get a placement at this level of professional football so it’s really exciting, especially after I got to the game at Carlisle last year and saw the passion of Barrow supporters.”
Montse’s arrival at the Club is the latest addition to the backroom staff at the stadium, with Aaron Archer and Kane Ackred having also recently joined us under the government’s Kickstart scheme.
