Bluebirds Offer Free Tickets To Emergency Services Workers

17 January 2022

Barrow AFC is to reward the town’s emergency services for their tireless efforts during the pandemic with free tickets for the League Two game against Mansfield Town later this month.

The Club has been keen to give something back to those who, during the COVID-19 crisis, have helped keep the local community safe across the NHS, Police and Fire & Rescue services.

As a result, we’ve made an allocation of FREE tickets available to be claimed by local workers from those services at a rate of one per person and on a first come first served basis.

The Bluebirds take on Mansfield at The Dunes Hotel Stadium on Saturday 22nd January (3pm kick-off) and General Manager Alisha Henry is hoping as many people as possible take advantage of the offer.

“As a Club, we wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone in the emergency services in Barrow,” she explained.

“We all know how tough the last 18 months have been for everyone but hopefully this gesture can help us give a little something back to those who have done so much to help us all and show our gratitude for their efforts.”

Those who wish to claim a free ticket must do so in-person at The Dunes Hotel Stadium in advance of the fixture and be able to show the relevant identification and proof of job.

The deadline for emergency service workers to redeem tickets is 4pm on Friday 21st January and this offer will not apply on the day of the game.
